Our client is the world's leading manufacturer of tracked crushing plant equipment. With over a century of experience in their field; they have a comprehensive range of modern crushing plants that are used in the quarrying, mining, construction and recycling industries. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Network Administrator / System Administrator to join their expanding team.

Applying your proven experience, in this role you will be responsible for the day to day management of the company's network infrastructure, servers, email systems and firewalls. You will also assist with problem resolutions and troubleshooting, and with some project work.

As the Network Administrator / System Administrator your duties will include:

- providing day to day maintenance of the network infrastructure
- managing the maintenance and configuration of servers
- managing the provision of virus protection
- managing and configuring local firewalls and web filtering systems
- managing, controlling and responding to fault reports, assisting users accordingly
- assisting the IT Manager with the maintenance of the ERP and telephone systems

To succeed in this role you must be an experienced Network Administrator who is MCSE and CCNA qualified. You must also have a full working knowledge of MS applications including MS Server 2000/2003 and Exchange 2000/2003.

Knowledge or experience of Checkpoint Firewall, Secure Client or Surfcontrol would be an advantage to your application, but isn't essential.
